      <![CDATA[I think this is just a natural extension of what is happening to TV in general. We are loosing substance in the form of well thought out scripted shows (expensive) for minimally planned reality shows (very inexpensive).

      <![CDATA[I'm guilty of watching some real garbage programming, but for the most part I like to see solid recipe demos, food related travel, and back of the house operations. Food Network took those formulas and drove them straight to hell in the past several years, putting out shows like The Next Food Network Star and proving that experience and knowledge don't really have anything to do with what they provide.
