You live a life that requires a less convenient and often misunderstood (sometimes mocked) ideology that requires more courage than lesser beliefs, and that makes you more righteous than the majority of people in our society.

If you don't follow the vegan/religious doctrine exactly, you're considered - to use your word - "scum", and further insulted as being of lesser intellect (don't forget the mother insults, too - classy!).

Blasting, criticizing, and insulting Payton - or anyone - for not choosing to live their life as a vegan once they have dipped their toe into the veggie-water is the close-minded, all-or-nothing attitude that is such a turn off to so many people.

In a nutshell, it’s because they both come from the same internal need to exert your belief onto others “for their own good”. You want to trade one type of brainwashing for another, because you really think you have found an irrefutable, undeniable, absolute TRUTH that is so important and so superior that you are blind to just how offensive you are to anyone who does not think like you.

NONE of the systematic users and abusers complain about commercial advertising regarding animal products or eating establishments whether it be on the side of the road or on the TV, therefore it is about content and not motive ergo you all love being influenced . Because you are truly weak and were brainwashed one way, it stands to reason that the damage done by your c word of a mother can be reversed.
The damage animals cause to human well being is becoming more and more of the conventional wisdom in this world.

I'd rather 50% of the world be 50% vegan than 1% of the world be 100% vegan. Think of how many more animals it would save if everyone realized it's ok to be "mostly" or "almost" vegan without making a 100% lifetime commitment!
