A Real Battle

Today's visit from World Wrestling Entertainment's RAW roster promises to be a special time for the ongoing saga of good vs. evil. Last night was the company's pay-per-view Judgment Day, which featured a championship match between Randy Orton and Triple H in a steel cage. This means that by the time they get to Kansas City, some long-running story lines will have wrapped up, allegiances will have shifted, and new champions will be making their public debuts. It also means that at least one injured wrestler will limp to the ring, practically guaranteeing that someone will be bludgeoned with a steel crutch. It's a time of rebirth, when the company tries to sell you on new feuds, so this stands to be one of the most exciting shows of the summer. See the carnage at 7 p.m. at Kemper Arena (1800 Genessee, 816-513-4000). Ticket prices range from $21 to $61, depending on how close you want to be to the bloodshed.— Peter Rugg
