"Toga! Toga!" is typically heard only at college parties, but for the past four years Tasso's Greek Restaurant (8411 Wornall) has invited toga lovers and party people to don the loose-fitting (and sometimes skimpy) white robes at its annual Toga Party and drink, celebrate and, well, drink. DJ Mike Scott spins from 6 to 9 p.m. and again from midnight to 1:30 a.m. Between his sets, Dolewite throws down hip-hop covers from 9 p.m. to midnight. Think your toga is the toga-est? Try to win the Best Toga Contest at 8, when Mark Metcalf (Doug Neidermeyer from Animal House) serves as this year's guest judge. The contest winner gets a 1979 Lincoln Continental.
