All Night Long

There’s much to be said for a good, old pub crawl: Transportation betwixt venues is magically easy, a bounty of alcohol flows and many a meaningful hookup can be had. The enterprising minds behind Waldo Astoria’s Waldo Crawldo know the value of an organized crawl — which is why they created a sister to May’s Waldo Crawldo, the Falldo Waldo Crawldo. Tonight, at seven venues (all within walking distance from 75th Street and Wornall), this year’s third-annual Falldo Crawldo includes the much-missed Kennedy’s, open at a temporary location (512 West 75th Street, 816-361-9788), and the addition of The Tap Room (7433 Broadway, 816-363-5242), Waldo Pizza’s newest extension and the area’s only nonsmoking beer and wine bar. The festivities start at 6 p.m., and any die-hards who actually make it to all seven locations become eligible for one of eight grand prizes. Tickets are $5 and available at wal waldocrawldo.com. All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Waldo Fountain Fund and Waldo Area Business Association.
Fri., Sept. 14, 6 p.m.-3 a.m.
