All Signals Go

Signal to Noise, a free-form radio show hosted by Barry Lee, has recently reappeared on Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m. on KKFI 90.1 after a four-year hiatus. (Lee tells us that he resigned back then to protest changes in KKFI’s management; he returned once he considered the station “in good hands again.”) Now Lee’s asking for submissions he can use in a future broadcast of previously unreleased or rare material by local musicians. That means live concert recordings, demos, unreleased tracks, drunk break-up songs left on ex-girlfriends’ answering machines, etc. Bands should keep the originals, which won’t be returned. Mail the material to Lee at KKFI, P.O. Box 32250, Kansas City, MO 64171; see www.signaltonoisekkfi.com for more information.
Sundays, 1-3 p.m., 2006
