After middling box-office returns for last year's The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Disney, which had planned to co-produce film adaptations of all seven Chronicles of Narnia books, pulled out of its partnership with Walden Media. This means an uncertain future for the franchise. For now, people who didn't catch Prince Caspian in theaters (the numbers suggest that's most folks) can see the movie's spectacular effects on the big screen at the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library (625 Minnesota Avenue, 913-551-3280). The Pevensie siblings revisit the dream world of magic, discovering that it has become "a more savage place" in their 1,300-Narnian-year absence. Impressive battle sequences ensue. Prince Caspian also boasts the first-ever co-billing of the cinema world's biggest little people, Peter "Station Agent" Dinklage and Warwick "Willow" Davis.
