Of course, appearances can device, and Bar West is far more interesting that its exterior suggests. It’s well-lit and clean, staffed by friendly bartenders, constantly chatting up the patrons. And while daily drink and food specials vary, the Tuesday-night calendar provides a snapshot of the potential mischief: cheap Coronas and tacos.
