The 4th Annual Polar Bear Plunge will be held on February 2, 2008. Brave men and women throughout the KC Metro Area will don costumes and swimwear and take "polar" dips in Longview Lake. All proceeds from the event directly benefit more than 1,800 area Special Olympics athletes. Registration available online. Each Polar Bear must be at least 14 years old and raise a minimum of $50.
