Belief Is Not Required

After more than 30 years of the Moral Majority (which I can argue has been neither), let's be seduced by something fun and pleasurable. In other words, how does each sign get its groove on ... ?

General Rules of Romantic Seduction by Element*

Fire (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius): After a shared, friendly competitive activity like sports, hiking or arm wrestling (aka showing stamina and sense of fair play).

Earth (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn): Food and any physically shared luxury (aka showing purchasing power).

Air (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius): Conversation, debate and detailing elaborate fantasies (aka showing brain power).

Water (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces): Preferably during or near water with music within shower, swimming or boating (aka showing emotional power).

Fire Element

"Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down." Some toy's promotional statement from 40 years ago (they were relaunched in 2010). "Fighting fire with fire" belongs to the Aries, Leo and Sagittarius folks. Passion begets more passion, like fire creates more fire. Turn us on and out, but take your time because no one wants a premature burnout. Pride runs deep within fire natives (sometimes more so than love), so dignity in seduction is a must when luring any fire sign.

Aries, March 20-April 19, initiating spiritual (fire, visionary)

Hello, spiritual being having physical experiences. You like confidence, a certain swagger. You like taking someone where they have not gone before. With sexy Mars, who stands for outgoing energy and self-assertion moving very slowly, you can feel your engine revving up in some exacting ways. Having specific fantasies about a co-worker? Nurse, doctor, French maid or ranch hand? You can pretend to be a virgin (or never have tried some sex act somewhere). Aries likes to be first. It's being that number one sign and all. Your self-esteem must be rock-solid, as it all shows on their bright and sunny faces. There are no Sallys faking orgasms here. When they are bored, they move on. So to keep them, you must be willing to do what you've "never" done and hint that there's another sexual romp just around the corner.

Leo, July 23-August 22, concentrating spiritual (building your identity)

Hello, king and queen of the jungle. Like Old Testament Jehovah (recovering Witness of his), "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Each fire sign has issues about how to present his or her special brand of individual moxie to a willing audience. Aries will get out of Dodge, and Sagittarius folks will talk themselves into another willing bed. Your loyalty keeps you entranced for far too long. Keeping any long-term relationship in a love-affair grand-gesture mode works well for you, and having lots of money and time and attention to lavish onto Leo doesn't hurt either. Demonstrating that you have taste (even as you whisper naughty things in their ears as you stroke their manes) attracts Leo to you, too. Being one of the most theatrical signs, remember to role play, oft times some of the best sex relies on mad improvisational skills (of which Leo can be a willing participant).

Sagittarius, November 22-December 21, adapting fall

The postman may indeed ring twice, so these more-the-merrier folks can be pansexual, wanting to have any and all experiences. Their pride runs toward the brain, implying that they've missed out on adventure in bed as well as outside the bedroom. Knowing something (or someone famous) that they do not is an aphrodisiac, too. It doesn't hurt if your ego is as large as Texas, either. Travel (via food or plane) turns them on. With their ruling planet Jupiter (remember how many liaisons he had?) in physically driven Taurus, they should be on almost everyone's wish list. Sometimes it's best to get them early in the morning or a quickie before the party. That way, if their enthusiasm wanes later, you'll be sated and not frustrated.
