Gemini, May 21-June 20, adapting intellectual
I asked an oracle what to tell you. Your future is so malleable. You can go in so many different directions. Here's what it said: This New Moon (Saturday, April 21 @ 2.20a), put your knowledge to good use. Honor and fame do not have to be mutually exclusive. Someone in your early childhood gave you messages that those who have more have cut corners or are unethical. Imagine that the Chinese Goddess of Mercy and Compassion (Quan Yin) enlightens you in every moment of conscious living. She categorically states that "without compassion and the desire to serve others, you are less the animals of the field and the sand on the beach." You are better than you realize or accept within yourself.

Last week, I wrote that your life is based upon the choices you make. Well, deep duh for me. Sometimes this claptrap is full of BS. Act like a court reporter and take this down. It's from the Chinese Goddess of Compassion and Mercy, Quan Yin. This bodhisattva hears the cries of the world. She speaks to you when you leave your mind chatter that emanates from the left hemisphere of your brain. Here's her dope wisdom: Must you be like careless birds caught in the nets of ceaseless activity and ambitious behavior? You do not need to give those backstabbers the satisfaction of watching you squirm. Instead, wake up and, until the Full Moon (May 5 @ 1036p), sow only what you want to reap. Do nothing to no one that you wouldn't want done to you. Live by the sword, die by the sword (symbolically speaking, of course).

Like Elvis sang, You're in love/and you're all shook up. Without love, you have no reason to live. And, let's squarely face facts, you live to reason. Even when you lose your considerable cool, you strive to be thought of as the last of the smart and reasonable people. So much so that you'll ignore the dictates of your considerable heart to keep your considerable cool. Well, I say to you, "Shake it up, baby." You need a dose of wisdom from Quan Yin (you could go to the Nelson-Atkins Museum and see her in what's called, "The Royal Pose"). Out of 100 possibilities from the oracle, you received the same message as Gemini (yes, really, no need to make this stuff up, I be having too much integrity for that, didn't ya hear?). Use your knowledge, Mr. or Ms. "I know." Resist your well-developed instinct toward seeing the worse future possible. This New Moon on Saturday gives your war-weary spirit a well-needed rest. If you do not garden, act like you do within your soul. Seeds do not have to literally be planted, but seeds need to be planted.
After the tormenting fires of the preceding fire sign, you can now exhale. Fruitful and earthy Taurus is a welcome diversion for you. Pisces, relax your mind and forgive yourself for obvious mishaps. Cancer, join that volunteer group or connect with a childhood friend. Scorpio, become even more relationship-obsessed (if that's possible).
Cancer, June 21-July 22, initiating feeling (soul)
Like the air signs (which you should read when you want to behave from a more objective motivation), I ask Quan Yin for help in delivering this week's message. I use a mantra to call her, then I search the 100 possibilities of certain ancient verses. These verses are public domain in other parts of the world. Here's what this merciful goddess has to say to you: After braving the storm, you have found your way home (shades of Dorothy). Begin again with the hard-earned knowledge that you can almost effortlessly turn into wisdom. Like water when it meets an obstacle, pause and increase your volume to overcome it. Success is around the corner, but you must have a resolute and joyous spirit in order to meet it. After May 5, you will begin to see that your efforts to create a better nesting place have not been in vain. Patience, you cute turtle, you.
