As the 1:30 transplants begin to roll into the 3 a.m. bars, it's a sure bet that they're more intoxicated than the servers whipping up their drinks. This occasionally makes for surly bartenders, and understandably so -- those of us on the side of the stools can be rather obnoxious. But staff members at Harry's Bar and Tables always seem to keep their cool. They're speedy, efficient and friendly, whether slinging beers or shaking martinis -- and really, isn't that all anyone's looking for at 2 in the morning? OK, maybe not ... but with a diverse scene made up of Plaza-goers, the Record Bar crowd, wedding-reception refugees and friendly strangers, Harry's can probably help you there, too.
