The Country Club Plaza, with its romantic Spanish architecture and outdoor summer concerts, is the perfect place to spy a new crush -- and not just for those 13-year-olds hanging out by Abercrombie & Fitch. This truth applies to a more mature set, as well. But in this case, one person happens to be garnering the affections of hundreds of shoppers. Kansas Citians might have eagerly awaited the openings of Tiffany's and 1154 Lill Studio, but the best new addition to the Plaza is Shane Borth, the violin player who frequently serenades 47th Street. Tall and slender, with floppy brown hair and brooding eyes, Borth scissors his way through an Irish jig and sweetly shears the Stones with equal tenacity. With any luck, he'll remain a fixture on the scene longer than any of those doomed-from-inception Chiefs retail stores. He's certainly easier on the eyes.
