With 135 beers on tap, Yard House earns our beery approval on the numbers alone. The California-based brewhaus, which opened this past summer in the Legends shopping district, brings a Cheesecake Factory-like approach not only to its menu but also to its beer and drink selections. A plethora of regional beers (Boulevard, Free State) flow from the taps alongside a great selection from Colorado -- try the Breckenridge and Boulder choices -- and more exotic picks such as Monty Python's Holy Grail and the Belgian Delirium Tremens. For the more adventurous, the bar also serves up draft-beer floats: Young's Chocolate Stout or Lindeman's Framboise with vanilla ice cream. Yard House doesn't offer beer in yardlong glasses, as its name implies, but it does serve up its vast selection of brew in half-yard containers, which adds that precarious -- and quasi-phallic -- touch to beer drinking ... as if drinking beer wasn't fun enough already.
