More than just the eighth wonder of the world, the all-you-can-eat buffet is as American as apple pie and as easy to come by as ranch dressing. But finding one that consistently serves up quantity and quality can be an elusive endeavor. Which is why the buffet at Sung Son in Westport is such a gem. There, you can eat all you want, and the offerings are fresh, flavorful and filling. We recommend starting with the noodle bar, which features five made-to-order Vietnamese soups. Then load up on the buffet offerings, around 20 options in all. Not familiar with Vietnamese food? No worries, for amid the spring rolls and bun chay, there are familiar Chinese dishes such as moo goo gai pan and General Tso's chicken. There's even good ol' American crab rangoon. It's hard to envision buffets without it.
