When Dustin Diamond -- better known as Screech from
Saved by the Bell (the hit TV show that launched a couple of careers for teen stars with three names) -- showed up at Buzzard Beach one winter night, the buzz in the air was palpable. Rumors quickly circulated (no, he isn't Neil Diamond's son, nor is he Beastie Boy Mike D's brother). Almost unrecognizable in a baseball cap and looking less gawky and more filled-out than he'd been on TV, Screech was at the upstairs bar hitting on women. He looked very un-Screech-like, especially to people who'd spent their Saturday mornings singing "It's all right, 'cause I'm saved by the bell."
