Kansas State guard Jacob Pullen is a rarity in college hoops. This season will be his fourth with the Wildcats, an achievement reserved mostly for scrubs these days. But Pullen is a bona fide star, and his four years happen to coincide with the program's remarkable turnaround. Last season, he made teams "fear the beard," averaging 19 points a game and pouring in 28 in the Wildcats Sweet Sixteen win over Xavier. In this (his senior) season, the expectations for Pullen and the Wildcats have never been higher, with coaches and media viewing them as a top-10 team. With Pullen around, the expectations in Manhattan might even be higher than that.
