Three Dog Bakery's Dinner Party Series, a fund-raiser for the Kansas City-based dog-food company's Gracie Foundation (which donates money to help abused and abandoned dogs), has become so popular that every one of its events sells out. Once a month from May through October, Three Dog reserves the patio of a restaurant such as Lidia's, McCormick & Schmick's or Californos, and dog owners and their canine companions take over for the night. Human attendees pay $10 a dog, which benefits the charity and gets the pooch a four-course meal served by Three Dog Bakery staff. (Humans can order from the menu for themselves and pay separately.) With meals like "Mutticotti," "Chicken Paw Pie" and "Terrier-Misu," all created by Three Dog's trained gourmet chef ( who studied at a human culinary school and has worked for many of the fanciest restaurants in town), it's pretty much guaranteed that your dog will never eat so well anywhere else.
