In the dog world, the following scents are considered perfume: skunk, dead mouse, bat vomit, rotten leaves and cat poop. That's why many dog owners don't want to bathe their dogs in their own bathtubs -- or anywhere near their homes. For a donation, volunteers from Kansas City Retired Greyhounds as Pets will wash the smelly canine. They're open for business on select summer weekends at the Hecker Animal Clinic, at 7240 Wornall Road. Donations benefit homeless greyhounds.
