Best Growler

75th Street Brewery

Whether starting a jug band or simply enjoying cold beer on your back porch, the glass growlers from the 75th Street Brewery will get you going. Just walk to the bar at the microbrewery and ask for the nutty Possum Trot Brown Ale or the Good Hope I.P.A. (If you're wavering, the bartender will gladly give you a sample before filling the half-gallon growler.) Once you open the plastic seal, the beer should be good for 48 hours; it will lose carbonation, but it's more fun to pretend that the fate of the world rests on your ability to knock back some hops. Save your empties for Saturday night when it's two-for-one on refills. Sustainability never tasted so good.
