North Kansas City's classic stadium was built as a WPA project during the 1930s. A unique stone wall encompasses its perimeter and was so well constructed it did not require any maintenance until it was tuck pointed this past year. NKC High's third-story classrooms loom just beyond the south end zone as the perfect backdrop for this history-rich venue where fans sit closer to the players than the water boy does.
