As not-so-confident knitters, we want to be in the club, but we don't know if we belong. Some knitting stores leave us feeling that we most definitely do not -- like after another 45 years of intricate cabling on fisherman-style sweaters, then maybe we'll be ready. But when we step into the Studio, we know we are among our people. All knitters there are united by a common love: yarn. And the Studio has tons of it. It's not just the selection of materials waiting to be turned into gossamer-thin shawls or Iceland-winter-ready sweaters that makes the Studio worthy of our love. The kind staff is always willing to help a knitter in need, and the store hosts workshops and classes from nationally known knitters (yes, there is such a thing) that are always worth checking out.
