Bob's '47 Oktoberfest is available just two delicious months a year. The malty, medium-bodied brew arrives in September and leaves at the end of October. The name of Boulevard's only lager pays tribute to former Muehlebach Brewery brewmaster Bob Werkowitch, a 1947 graduate of the United States Brewers Academy, but its taste pays tribute to anyone who drinks it. Luckily, it's available right now — right now! — at more than 300 locations around the metro (at least until it sells out). So ditch that Bud Light Lime and become a real Kansas City beer drinker this fall.
