Kansas City Star columnist Jason Whitlock shit all over this year: Roy Williams? Nope. This past spring, Whitlock responded to the former KU coach's obviously painful decision to leave Lawrence for his home state and alma mater, North Carolina, by calling Williams a "traitor." The Royals? Nope. In May, Whitlock called the team, making its best start in thirteen years, a "whiny bunch of sore losers." Priest Holmes? Nope. In July, Whitlock dutifully informed readers that the Chiefs' star running back would never fully recover. More recently, Whitlock took a different negative turn, labeling the recovered "Holme$" a money-grubber. We could go on, but you get the idea.
