The Nordstrom women's room is a prime example of form following function. The main lounge is decorated in pewter and navy tones, and it features a sofa and chairs on which you can rest. There's also a mother's changing room off to the side. The stalls are deep enough that the inward-swinging door doesn't mash you against the toilet when you open it, and more important, there's a shelf on which to put a purse and coat.
