And if honeybees die after one sting, the Buzz must be a wasp. Consider the alt-rock renegade's relentless efforts to stick it to their pop-radio adversaries at Mix: Among the Buzz's most memorable stunts has been a platoon of Buzz buddies disrupting a Mix-sponsored Fountains of Wayne show by marching through America's Pub wearing "Stacy's Mom Has a Penis" shirts, and a plane hired to fly over the Mix-sponsored Red White and Boom concert with a banner that read "R Milkshake Is Betta 'n Urs: 96.5 the Buzz." For its part, 93.3 largely refused to acknowledge its counterpart, in accordance with Clear Channel policies against public displays of a sense of humor.
