One of our friends, a Kansas Citian who now calls the nation's capital home, has her priorities straight. Number one on the list? Shoes. So we take her advice seriously when it comes to shoe repair. Her joint of choice isn't in D.C., though; it's here in the humble heartland, in a little shop stuffed with Western boots and shoes in all colors and skins. (Who wants some ostrich oxfords?) Renner's Boots & Shoes doesn't sell just shoes, though. Our shoe-obsessed pal totes her Manolos and Choos back home when they need some TLC. Thankfully, we only have to travel to the Plaza to get our favorite heels resoled.
