This songbird has been locked in a cage far too long. The 20-something vocalist is a mix of Jennifer Holliday, Mahalia Jackson, and Mary J. Blige -- you get the picture. Grrrl can give the big bad wolf a run for his money because she can blow. Baker can be heard singing background on the songs of several local artists (Tech N9ne, Snug Brim, and Bugsy), but she deserves a chance to shine on her own. Someone please give this superb vocalist a record contract so her explosive pipes can mesmerize the entire world. --SE
