Being landlocked by sprawl can feel stifling, but there is an oasis in the city and -- surprise, surprise -- it's on Troost. Urbanites can wander around the gargantuan lot at Soil Service Garden Center totally hassle-free. Being around so many plants is therapeutic, and the Soil Service employees won't even bat an eyelash if you want to get to second base with some of the plants, maybe engaging in some heavy hydrangea petting or lotus-leaf-fondling. And for a price, some of those hot, sun-seeking numbers and shady, shy little vines will gladly go home with you. Being a whore for foliage never done nobody wrong.
