You don't meet many career waitresses anymore, but Audrey Anderson has been hauling out plates for so long that she's now waiting on the children of the children of her first customers. She's best known for her long tenure at the old Rodeway Inn in Overland Park, where her snappy service and gorgeously lush artificial eyelashes (they were so long they made Joan Crawford's falsies look nonexistent) were legendary. Anderson now juggles her time between RC's and the Wyndham Suites, and can still balance big ol' platters of fried chicken with the timing and precision of an athlete.
