Best Way to Lose a Local Sports Fan 

Threaten to move to Oklahoma City

The Kansas City Blades, an IHL team that has trouble attracting more than 25-percent-of-capacity crowds to Kemper Arena, made marketing even tougher this year. By attempting a power play with the apathetic city council, the Blades announced that they would move if renovations weren't made to the arena. The council said "Good riddance," and meager crowds have said "See ya." --JR
