Poetry and visual arts come together at the American Jazz Museum (1616 East 18th Street, 816-474-8463) for Beyond Words, an exhibit curated by Glenn North, the museum's poet-in-residence, and Sonié Joi Ruffin, KC fabric artist and Charlotte Street Award winner.
