BikeWalkKC's Tour de Brew

When: Sun., May 20 2012
tourdebrewkc.com
If you haven't already registered for Tour de Brew KC, plan to fork over $50 at the starting line, which is Knuckleheads Saloon (2715 Rochester, 816-483-1456). Depending on your level of hardcore, you roll from there at different start times through 15, 30 or 62 miles of Kansas City roads, trails and history. Each route is named for a beer. The Lager ride highlights brewing history in the urban core; the IPA tour covers the history plus some of KC's prettiest neighborhoods; and the mighty Dunkel goes deep into Johnson County. All three wind up back at Knuckleheads for a jam session and brouhaha that doubles as the closing party for Bike Week 2012. Registration includes lunch and two free beers (or sodas). Proceeds benefit BikeWalkKC, a local organization dedicated to making the city safer for walkers and bicyclists. For more information, see tourdebrewkc.com.
