Billy Dean

Friday, December 31, at the Beaumont Club.

A Billy Dean New Year's Eve show really ought to come with a parental-advisory sticker. As soon as Dean (not to be confused with sausage king Jimmy Dean) busts into his chart-climbing "Let Them Be Little," every parent in the Beaumont is going to start missing his or her child, no matter how much tail-wagging greeted the babysitter. The night is likely to end early -- Dick Clark on the bedroom TV, kisses for the conked-out littlest one in the middle, and all "intimacy resurrection" resolutions put off until cartoons fire up the next morning. If you're looking for sweet, not sultry, this is the place to be.
