For the downtown location in their burgeoning Bo Lings empire, Richard and Theresa Ng gutted the old Oriental Market space in the historic City Market and turned it into a beautifully designed venue that’s both sleek and comfortable. To appeal to the younger clientele who live and work downtown, this Bo Lings pulls out all the culinary stops to make there’s something on the menu for everyone. That means dim sum items offered daily, an array of sushi rolls and a couple of Malaysian and Thai dishes – and fried calamari! -- in addition to the “greatest hits” from the traditional Chinese-American menu.
