Two nightlife options are across the street from the old Antioch Shopping Center in North Kansas City: (1) a bumping, strobe-lit nightclub with a 21 in its name or (2) BoJos, a medium-sized bar that generally attracts a much older crowd. With dark-red walls, BoJos feels like a comfortable den during the day (still your kind of place is printed on the menus). When the sun goes down, however, it transforms into a veritable cougar den, with spots at the horseshoe bar filling quickly with members of the 40-plus cohort. On the weekends, when cover bands get the crowd moving, that other club down the street isn't the only place in this neighborhood where cheap beer is guzzled, big hair is bobbing and suggestive dancing is going on.
