Boomer's sits one block too far north of the Gladstone border to qualify for a smoking permit, but that doesn't keep the crowd away. With pool tables, dartboards, Golden Tee, Big Buck Hunter and customized Texas hold ’em tables, the bar remains popular with both the game-playing set and more stationary drinkers. The crowd is a mixed bag — on any given day, you'll find patrons young and and older, all passing the time with friendly bartenders at the attractive, brass-trimmed bar. Smokers take refuge on the outdoor patio.
