Built to Spill

Built to Spill At Built to Spill's last Kansas City show, the normally shy and plaintive Doug Martsch stopped the set because of the continued insults of a heckler near the stage. "How much did you pay [to get in]?" Martsch asked. Upon hearing the young man's answer, Martsch pulled cash out of his wallet, threw it at the man and told him to leave so that others could enjoy the show. It's this passion that has led the Idaho natives through years of touring and six well-received albums, including 2006's re-energized You in Reverse. Now's the best time to see these excellent musicians at the top of their game — twice.
