Battle of the Bands to benefit the UMKC Association of Women Law Students’ scholarship fund. Funky Munky Music (10709 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, 913-268-5555) is the event’s sponsor. At press time, the lineup boasted Big T and the Shrieking Eels, (the Parentheticals), and Patrick Lentz and the P Lentz Project. Ten bucks gets you into the show. Throw down with $5 PBR pitchers and $2.50 Boulevard Pints.
