Restaurant Details

The connection to Jimmy Buffett, who owns a piece of the business and wrote the song that inspired the restaurant’s name, must be one reason patrons are willing to stand around for as long as an hour to get into this destination spot in Wyandotte County’s West Village development. The most-requested dish is, of course, the signature cheeseburger, which is hardly worth singing about. Other Caribbean-influenced choices are far more interesting, including jerk-rubbed pork ribs and blackened tilapia. — Charles Ferruzza
