The inaugural Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua Parade tried to break a world record but ended up raising $2,500 for the Pet Connection, a local no-kill shelter. Approximately 500 dogs met up at Nica's 320 on Southwest Boulevard at noon Saturday, May 5, and The Pitch found some perros magnificos out in full costume celebrating the humidity and the holiday.
