Located on the corner of 19th Street and Broadway, this scrubbed-up, brightened-up spot (it used to be Jilly’s) has something for everyone Tuesday through Saturday, day and night. Owned by KC service-industry veterans Dan and Annie Tutko, Coda has food until midnight, an open-mic night, and local bands on Fridays and Saturdays. Forget about any bar that you visited before in this spot. It’s a whole new song at Coda.

Imagine if you will, all those great jamming bands from the 1970's, Grandfunk Railroad, CCR, Grateful Dead, Lynyrd Skynyrd and all those others, thats what your listening to when your hearing Blackhorse Revival play but no covers at all its all original. Bought their first CD that evening and all i can say is WOW, best songs where Hezekiah Crowe, Death of Me, and Lighthouse. Awesome show and can't wait to see their next show. These guys are going to skyrocket to the top.

They always hang really cool art. The food is great and made in house. There are plenty of local bands, and open mic nights. Somethings to do and see every night of the week. Absolutely love Coda, and the folks who run it are awesome.

Love Tuesday's Trivia so funny! The music is always great on the weekends and food is amazing!!! The Coda is my favorite bar in K.C.!!!
