Six months in the making, this former auto warehouse, landmarked by the giant guitar-player mural on the buildings south side, is home to one of the biggest stages in the city and some of the best sound quality. Its calendar tends to be filled by local tribute bands with big dreams, and theres likely to be at least a $5 cover (except on ladies night). Heavily staffed and sparsely decorated, Crosstown Station is easily accessible and definitely not pretentious fashion statements tend to be fauxhawks and chain wallets. To go along with the fairly cheap beer, theres also cheap pizza.
