Even if you aren't a fan of romantic comedies, there's no denying that the Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore flick 50 First Dates goes above typical Saturday-afternoon, basic-cable viewing. Shot on location in Oahu, Hawaii, the 2004 movie stars Sandler as Henry, a mack-daddy marine veterinarian hellbent on wooing Lucy (Barrymore), a cute art teacher who suffers from anterograde amnesia due to a car accident. Each day, Henry must come up with a new way to "meet" Lucy because her overprotective family hasn't explained her diagnosis to her. Relive that irrisistible aloha feeling tonight at Free Friday Night Flicks at Crown Center (2450 Grand, 816-274-8444). Admission is free, and blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged for viewing this PG-13 movie. The show starts at 9 p.m.
