Dead Poetic, with Demon Hunter.

Wednesday, July 7, at the Bottleneck.

I've been dead-on, dead wrong, dead broke and dead sexy. But never Dead Poetic. Then again, these fine lads have worked hard to grab a small slice of spotlight and get themselves signed to Tooth and Nail, home to fellow bleeding-heart rockers Mae, Emery and Anberlin. Then there's Demon Hunter, a band whose members call themselves names like Sgt. Serpent, Chuck Knuckles and Utah Biggs. Ah, but there will be no signs of the beast here. These are good Christian boys who just like a little moshing with their messiah. And though this performance might not be as much fun as, say, feeding Christians to lions, it is proof once again that you can be totally hardcore and totally still have good ol' Jesus as your bestest pal.
