Going to a strip club in Missouri just isn't the same since the passage of the law prohibiting nudity and lap dances, as most of the dancers' outfits are about as revealing as swimsuits. But that doesn't stop the diverse group of ladies from twisting and writhing athletically around the stage and shimmying up and down the golden pole that serves as the centerpiece of the large, dimly lit room. The cover is only $5, and there's still something exciting and carnival-esque about watching a buff, beautiful woman zip down a metal pole before walking across the stage on her hands.

Restaurant Details

Even the scantily clad showgirls working this northside roadhouse rave about the cuisine here, so the kitchen must be doing something right. The menu isn’t designed to compete with the pole dancers for attention, so there’s a limited selection of sandwiches and salads and at least one daily special, including an inexpensive 16-ounce steak dinner with baked potato and Texas toast offered on Tuesdays and Fridays. The kitchen serves until 11 p.m., and the place doesn’t take credit cards, although there’s an ATM in the lobby.
