Free shots every Saturday — need we say more? Of course we do; it¹s our job. So let it be known that DJs Ruckus and That Man Dan (both of AR Productions) are taking over a new Saturday night weekly at the Sake Bar in Overland Park. Ruckus says his forte is ³soulful house² music, and in recent years he¹s gotten quite comfortable playing parties. Now, though, he¹s ready to move on with the new aim of getting KC asses on OP dance floors. His partner, That Man Dan, is freshly returned to Kansas from overseas. Known as a studio recluse, he¹s quickly gaining ground on the dance circuit with his mastery of house and drum-¹n¹-bass. Those with mainstream inclinations will be glad to know that Ruckus and Dan aren¹t afraid to drop a Top 40 track. Pyromaniacs, too, should be happy — the bartenders at Sake like to breathe fire. Oh, and alcoholics ... free shots!
