That's right — on Thursday nights, you and a pal can drink for the price of one. Or those who prefer to double-fist their rum and cokes and appletinis can do so for half the regular price. The special runs from 10 p.m. to close every week.If you're worried about getting started too late on a school night — how much work does anyone really accomplish on Friday, anyway? — hit up the Velvet Dog's happy hour instead. From 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, appetizers are half off, and various domestics, well drinks and fruity cocktails run $2 to $3.
