The Lyric Opera auditioned little dogs on Tuesday afternoon for a carry-on role in its upcoming production of La Boheme. Pitch reporter Crystal K. Wiebe took her smelly, old miniature pinscher Scooby to the casting call to see if he had what it takes to be a star.

Scooby, who really needs a bath, can barely contain his excitement. He's pretty sure he's got these dandy dogs with their professional haircuts totally beat.
