The ladies of the Burlesque Downtown Underground have a present for you. Sure, they’re offering glimpses of their fishnetted thighs, waxed bodies, stiletto-heeled feet and tattooed figures, but they want you to spend your tip money on yourself. Though tickets for tonight's 8 p.m. performance of A Black Tie Cabaret With a Splash of Holiday! at City Stage Theater at Union Station (30 West Pershing Road, 816-460-2020) cost $20 for adults 18 and older and $18 for students, the women want you to stay in your seats for the two titillating hours and save your dollar bills — unless you need a drink from the cash bar. The Burlesque Downtown Underground is made up of professional actors, singers and entertainers.
